At age 4, she began singing in Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. At age 12 Mychy's family became members of Second Christian Church (Rockford, IL), where she was apart of the music and youth ministry. At 14, Mychy and her family, relocated to Brown Deer, WI. Christian Faith Fellowship Church of Milwaukee, WI became their new church home and Mychy became a part of the youth and music ministry there as well. In 2006, Mychy and her family joined World Outreach and Bible Training Center-Glendale,WI. She taught her first message in 2008 at World Outreach and Bible Training Center Glendale, Wisconsin. Mych'Iayla was a youth leader in G.A.P. Youth Ministry (Glendale, WI) teaching and mentoring youth from the ages of 12 to 18 years old as well as leading the middle school cell group for girls. In 2011 Mychy and her family moved to Arizona. World Outreach and Bible Training Center Maricopa, AZ was born and later gave birth to Soul SnatchAZ Youth Ministry. Here Mychy began teaching youth (the current Youth Director for Soul SnatchAZ) as well as leading praise and worship. Earlier this year, Mych'Iayla was able to minister to youth and young ladies in Mexico. Mych'Iayla is featured on iTunes with Christian Rap Artist/Minister, Chosen 1, on a song entitled, "Call Me." She is also featured on a local (Phoenix, AZ) hit entitled, "Say," with Christian Rap Artist/Minister M.C. Sacred. For the first time in 426 days, there is no "official" devotional post. I'd been asking the Lord for the release as I am tired and I need to rest.

Yesterday, on Day 60 of the second series of devotions, He released me very clearly. I am excited for the return, when it comes, because I know it will be great! But this next season of rest is necessary.

There will still be encouragement, because that's who I was created to be but it may or may not make it to the "Book" (as in Facebook). I pray that you all get the much needed rest that the Lord is offering, extending and waiting on you to sit under and in, that your spirit, soul and body may be healed, transformed and full.

“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.””
