This page was created in an attempt to open the dialogue between the ABIM and physicians. When the ABIM created the Transforming.ABIM.org blog on February 3, 2015 they allowed the public posting of comments and criticisms for ABIM leaders as well as our fellow physicians to read. However on March 27 the ABIM made the puzzling decision to close and delete all public comments from this blog. We believe this censorship is a reflection of the ABIM's lack of interest in truly listening to physicians. As it stands, there is no public forum through which doctors can share their comments with both the ABIM and their fellow physicians. Thus, we invite you to email the ABIM at rbaronmd@abim.org as they request in their blog. Please copy and paste these comments on this page to share with the physician community. There is no reason for the ABIM to ration physicians' opinions, other than to censor what they don't want us to hear. We believe the sentiment amongst physicians is overwhelmingly opposed to the ABIM agenda. We also welcome you to share any correspondence you have had with ABMS and the various specialty societies (ie ACP, AAP, AAFP, AAN, etc). The stakes are high in this fight: control of our profession and its beleaguered practitioners.
