Please welcome Dr. Madelyn Kowal, O.D.!

Dr. Kowal obtained her bachelor of Neuroscience degree at Michigan State University and earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry. She completed her externships at Smart Eye Care in Maine which specialized in the treatment and management of dry eye disease, The Villages VA in Florida, and Hershel “Woody” Williams VA in West Virginia. Dr. Kowal has a passion for treating dry eye disease, and providing comprehensive medical eye exams to those of all ages. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and cat, reading, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.

Doctor Spotlight! ⭐

Dr. Fergason obtained her Bachelor of Vision Science Degree at Ferris State University and earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Michigan College of Optometry. She completed externships at Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut, Kresge Eye Institute and the Charleston VA Medical Center. Dr. Fergason completed her residency in primary care and ocular disease at the Providence VA Medical Center in Rhode Island, where she provided comprehensive and medical eye exams for our veterans. In her spare time Dr. Fergason enjoys traveling, wake boarding, fitness activities, and spending time with her family and friends.
