Also, it will not interfere with any standard forms of medicine and medical treatments. Reiki can be given to a person through touch or even without touch. al offices and hospitals that are using Reiki in addition to the standard practices. It can help those with chronic pain, stress, or illness. After all, a patient will not recover an improve from any treatment if the patient has no interest in recovering or improving. Reiki is just one more tool that can assist in the process with ZERO side effects. The worst that can happen is that nothing happens. Most people feel a sense of relaxation and reduced stress after a session of Reiki. How much Reiki should you have? It really depends on the individual. Someone who is dealing with a chronic issue may wish to receive Reiki treatments as much as once a week. Someone who is looking for stress reduction and relaxation may find Reiki is useful once a month. If you have never experienced Reiki before, check it out with a session and decide from there if it is the treatment for you. I am also a Reiki teacher.
