An Open Letter to the One who has lost his passion for Jesus.
He gave up His life for you.
God's goodness, patience, and grace towards you will humble you even more. It will bring you to bend down your knees and cry because there's nothing that you can offer but a broken heart and spirit.
All this time, you've realized that all along, He loves you not because of what you can give and do for Him, but because He chose to love you. Period.
When you've lost the hunger and fire in your heart.
When suddenly reading the Bible and praying becomes just an obligation and your last choice.
When sin and temporay happiness makes you settle for less.
Look at the sky, the stars, and the mountains.
You're this tiny human being cared by a marvelous, all-powerful, and infinite God.
You see how precious you are? The God of the heavens and the earth is longing for you.
He doesn't need you because He is God already, but because He seeks a personal relationship with you, He wants to walk and journey with you beloved child, He wants you.
You are not enough and that's okay, because He is more than enough. There's nothing to prove for you to be loved, He desires your being, not your doing.
