The team at Riverside Health Center in Belle celebrated Halloween with a Care Bears theme!
Patients who have been seen in the past are encouraged to drive by Riverside Health Center on Tues., Nov. 11th between 9 AM and 4 PM. We will be holding a FLU SHOT CLINIC - no appointment is needed! Find the link to the Facebook events in the comments below!

🦎🦆 Our Admin Team understood the assignment! 💼
Only at a healthcare admin office would you find the entire team dressed as insurance mascots for Halloween!
From GEICO's gecko to AFLAC's duck, Progressive's Flo to Mayhem herself - we have the whole insurance commercial lineup working hard at the CCHS Administrative Office this week!
Who knew filing claims and managing paperwork could look this fun? 😂

🍝 The Cabin Creek Health Center crew served up some SERIOUS creativity this Halloween! 🥑
Talk about a feast for the eyes! Our Dawes team went all out with a food-themed Halloween that had us hungry for more:
🥜 PB & J sandwich
🧀 Walking Chester the Cheetos Cheetah
☕ Starbucks latte
🌮 Chips and salsa pair
🥑 Avocado toast pair (yes, really!)
🍝 Spaghetti and meatballs
📦 Mac and Cheese
Bon appétit, indeed! 👨‍🍳

🎃 HAPPY HALLOWEEN from all of us at CCHS Westside Health! 🎃

🎃 Sissonville Health Center's Trunk or Treat & Haunted House Was SPOOKTACULAR! 👻
WOW! Our first-ever combined Trunk or Treat and Haunted House on October 28th blew us away! We handed out over 225 treats to costumed kids, and with parents included, we had around 375-400 people come through. Our parking lot was PACKED!
Donna Burton kept everyone warm with her homemade hot apple cider, while hot chocolate kept the little ones (and let's be honest, the adults too) happy all night long.
HUGE thanks to our incredible partners:

🎃 All the community members who donated and participated
You all made this night possible!
We saved the BEST part for last! As families were leaving, they kept asking if we'd do this again next year.
YES! This is now an ANNUAL event! And trust us, we've got even bigger plans brewing. STAY TUNED!

CLARIFICATION

West Virginia residents can get more info on The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) and the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) through their local food bank.

TEFAP is available to residents in ALL 55 counties. To access CSFP, you must meet certain qualifications and reside in certain counties.

If you live in the northern half of the state, contact Mountaineer Food Bank at 304-364-5518 or visit www.mountaineerfoodbank.org.

If you live in the southern half of the state, contact Facing Hunger Foodbank at 304-523-6029 or visit www.facinghunger.org.

These programs help ensure West Virginians have access to healthy, nutritious food. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you or someone you know could use a little help.

Fun Farm Fact: Shoot a doe with a bow? Consider donating that deer to Hunters Helping the Hungry! There's no cost to the hunter, just find a participating meat processor in your area and drop off your legally tagged dear. The venison goes to the Mountaineer Food Bank and Facing Hunger Foodbank.

🎃 Trunk or Treat at Cabin Creek Health Center in Dawes was our biggest yet! 🎃

We had over 200 kids come through - a PHENOMINAL turnout! It was wonderful to see our parking lot full of families, laughter, and some truly creative costumes.

A huge thank you to Triple B Eatery and Dry Branch Independent Missionary Baptist Church for joining us this year. Your generosity and community spirit helped make the night extra special!

Nights like this remind us why we do what we do. It’s about showing up for our neighbors and being part of a community that looks out for one another. 💖

We can’t wait to see everyone again next year!
