Ive had plenty of veterans in my family & many friends. I care. I also subscribe to the 60s anthem "what if they made a war & nobody came?" When will we citizens rise up against the perpetual war machine which is mostly about rich influential mostly men sending our children to fight "foreign" children because their "leaders" wont agree with "ours".

I had to remove X app from my primary tablet. Their gatekeeping is garbage. Everything i do keeps me locked out. Yes i rated & complained in the app stores. If this happens w meta ill be out of here too without warning. This constantly jumping thru hoops to use apps isnt worth my time or energy anymore.

Kathy Cargill has finally broken her silence after months of backlash over her purchasing and leveling of homes on Park Point.

What she said: "I think an expression that we all know — don't p*e in your Cheerios — well, (Duluth Mayor Roger Reinert) kind of p*ed in his Cheerios right there, and definitely I'm not going to do anything to benefit that community," Cargill told the Wall Street Journal.

Context: Cargill is the wife of a billionaire heir to the gigantic Cargill company. In December, she called the homes she bought through an LLC and demolished "pieces of crap," which offended some neighbors and left others asking about her plans.

Reinert had asked Cargill for a meeting, but said she ignored his request.
The intrigue: Cargill told the WSJ that she has scrapped plans to fund improvements to a local park, open a coffee shop, and build a complex for pickleball, basketball, and street hockey.

Reality check: This is the first the general public has heard of such plans.

Boycott Cargill? Cargill is a HUGE corporation & has mostly to do with food.
People (sic) like her is why the world is slow to transform into a place of peace, justice & integrity.
