Maybe you only have 40 more chances in your life to feel the warmth of summer on your skin.

40 more times to see the leaves change color in autumn.

40 more times to feel the chill of winter and the first rays of spring sunshine.

Or maybe less. Maybe 10. Maybe 5. Maybe… this is the last time.

PLEASE STRONGLY DISAGREE to the DOH Network Consultation Proposals because the people here are Entitled to Better! >>> ONE DAY LEFT TO HAVE YOUR SAY!
DOH Hospital Network Consultation CLOSES TOMORROW Fri 28th Feb 2025 @ 5pm.

This DOH Hospital Network Consultation 2025 proposes to downgrade Daisy Hill, Newry from one of the 9 designated Major Acute Hospitals in NI to a ‘General Hospital’ with limited services, and its proposed ‘core services’ to be maintained only for the ‘short to medium term.’**

>>WHO CREATED THIS DOH HOSPITAL NETWORK CONSULTATION?

The Minister of Health Mr Mike Nesbitt MLA stated at the Assembly that the HEALTH TRUSTS developed these proposals, as quoted:

“Minister of Health: ‘Hospitals – Creating a Network for Better Outcomes’ is intended as a high-level strategic framework within which decisions on specific services can be made by individual Health and Social Care Trusts.
The Health and Social Care Trusts were instrumental in developing the consultation document, indeed the content was co-produced with the Trusts and overseen by a task & finish group which involved the Trust Chief Executives.” (NI Assembly 2024).

The proposals in this Consultation for the Southern Trust population are to make Craigavon the only Area Hospital for the entire Southern Trust .
This is NOT equitable (NOT just and fair) and will NOT have better health outcomes for Newry, South Down and South Armagh population as we will have to travel further for TIMELY access to vital 24/7 Accident and Emergency specialist inpatient services like Emergency Surgery, Heart and Stroke where EVERY MINUTE COUNTS for best outcomes.

PLEASE STAND UP FOR DAISY HILL

>>>>It is vital as many people respond as possible respond as this may be the last chance we have to stand up for Daisy Hill as a major Acute Hospital. If this goes ahead we will be left in the hands of the Southern Trust who will be allowed to continue to decide what services will remain or be withdrawn from Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry.

THIS IS THE SAME TRUST THAT CLOSED DAISY HILL HOSPITAL ED TO THE PUBLIC AT THE HEIGHT OF THE PANDEMIC IN MARCH 2020. For 7 long months the Southern Trust took away our staff and Emergency services and told the people of this area ‘to keep safe by staying at home and wash your hands’ while at the same time having 3 EDs (including a children’s ED) in Craigavon.

So am sure many of you who follow my page notice I do very little posting, but I aim to do a bit better with that in 2025! Gonna start with this, obviously holistic therapies have so many benefits for relaxation, destressing etc which helps the body energetically on so many levels but unless your maybe unwell, many do not realise that they have so much to give therapeutically also, such as easing pain, stiffness etc; maybe if you know someone in that situation, plant the seed for regular self care 💚

Massage therapy may increase blood flow to the brain, decrease muscle stiffness, promote relaxation, and increase mobility in some people with Parkinson’s

This year I passed a milestone, marking a decade since I qualified as a Reflexologist. Reflexology brought a whole new way of seeing life, trusting my intuition and learning and then more learning. I'm still at it!

Every year led me to new methods and therapies to support wellbeing, each having their own part to play in holistic health. The wonderful clients and therapists who have become dear friends along the way each helped me to become the therapist I am today.

I am so grateful to all those who trust me to assist them in their well-being journeys, whatever form that takes and in doing so support me in the holistic path I have chosen.

From the 1st July 2024, I will for the 1st time be increasing the price of my treatments, still remaining very affordable in comparison to others. All appointments already booked in July will of course, be honoured at the previous rate.

Thank you all so much for your ongoing support, I cannot tell you how much it is appreciated.
