Mental Health Aims Dr. Mangal Kardile, Proprietor/Founder Mental Health Aims working in Mental Health sector with a str I took a stand to educate people regarding this issue.

The idea that people and especially, family and close friends, of affected individuals should have complete knowledge about that mental disorder emerged from an experience while helping my close friend with mental disorder. Even after the treatment ran its course successfully, I was bewildered at the amount of social stigma in the society. Many years of experience in Visual Effects Technology and

academic knowledge of philosophy gave me the idea of combining these elements with psychiatry, based on it I successfully presented my 1st research paper in the field of mental health in UNT, Texas, USA, May’11. I set my goal to become a mental health professional, specializing in “Clinical Psychology“. My research continued ahead and contributed in adult mental health problems and accordingly I presented papers in China, Hong Kong, Australia and India. My research interest in memory and cognitive impairments that connects with neuropsychology has been cultivating with the clinical practice and innovative research project development in the field of clinical investigations and psychological and cognitive rehabilitation. Since 2011, a diagnostic tool, titled UMACE (Universal Memory and Cognitive Exam) has been tested on more than 350 samples comprising normal (literate and illiterate), psychiatric and neurological patients rendering substantial quantitative and qualitative data. In an ambitious attempt to empower and support people through innovative methods, the creator of UMACE, Mangal Kardile, a researcher from the City of Nashik in India, seeks to further improve this existing tool to analyze memory and cognitive impairment of the visually impaired population around the globe.
285 million people are estimated to be visually impaired worldwide: 39 million are blind and 246 have low vision. About 90% of the world's visually impaired live in low-income settings (Visual impairment and blindness Fact Sheet, WHO, N°282, 2014). One out of every three blind people in the world lives in India (Anugraha Drishtidaan,2013, http://www.anugrahadrishtidaan.org/Blindness-Global-&-Indian-Scenario.htm)
Further the researcher has been developing a tool for visually impaired population, named as UMACE-VIP (UMACE- Visually Impaired) to detect memory and cognitive impairments as India shoulders the largest burden of global blindness, about 15 million across the country (38 million visually impaired worldwide) with 30000 new cases being added each year. The 75% of these cases are of avoidable blindness, but India has acute shortage of optometrists, while India needs 40,000 optometrists, it has only 8,000 (http://www.netradaan.com/blind-statistics-india.php). The global population about 38 million persons at present who are blind and, by definition, cannot walk about unaided. They are usually in need of vocational and/or social support.

It is with profound sorrow that we share the passing of my beloved husband Shri Shirish Jayant Kardile, on 28/09/2024. A legendary, genius, a stalwart, a Global hero, and one of it's kind of a Consulting Civil engineer, (COEP, batch 1982), specializing in designing water and waste water treatment plant, packaged treatment plants, Govt. & Private sector, by continuing legacy of his father, Dr. Jayant N. Kardile (research engineer and a public health officer MERI, Nashik, Chief Eng. Govt. of Maharashtra), PhD in innovating low-cost, non-mechanical, unconventional methodology for developing countries, a patent holder for the same (PhD between 1959-1970), was on his mission for providing safe/pure drinking water to every household, reaching remote areas, travelling thousands of miles to reach to the end-user...recently completed very important manual revision for Govt. of India - CPHEEO for "Augmentation and upgradation of water treatment plants", a special award by DSIR "Young Consultants Award" by Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India- 1988-89

CELEBRATING 15 YEARS FOR “UMACE”, “UMACE-VIP” –

“UNIVERSAL MEMORY AND COGNITIVE EXAM, 2009 to 2024”

It’s 15 years for research, development, International conference presentations in 4 countries (Australia, Denmark, China & India), copyright, standardization publication - (mostly self-funded), and application in various clinical settings and for various Neurology patients for varied reasons.

Also celebrating 10 years for UMACE-VIP “Universal Memory And Cognitive Exam for Visually Impaired(additional facility with UMACE), studies done at National Assoc. for Blind (NAB, Nashik branch, 2014)

We are very happy to serve the needy, though the innovations done by INDIVIDUAL RESEARCHERS in the developing countries still have to face a lot of challenges and hurdles for widespread applications.

Deeply grateful to The Govt. of India to recognize the age-old natural 12 tissue remedy system - Biochemic System of Medicine developed by - A German physician named Dr. Schuessler, who developed the Biochemic Therapy, based on the discovery that a standard amount of organic and inorganic constituents defines the natural activity, structure, and vitality of the cell. Therefore, also known as Tissue remedies or Schussler’s tissue salt remedies. The biochemic medicines is a system of medicine that evolved in 1873. Dr. Schussler was a renowned homeopath who propounded this theory.
And extremely grateful to Dr. Gopal Sadashiv Palsule, Allopathic & Homoeopathic medicine practitioner, 1910, India (Founder Shrikrishna Homeo Pharmacy, Pune (1911) & Founder of Homeopathic Association India, & promoter - Bombay Homoeopathic Act, 1951), who went to Germany and learned from Dr. Schussler and implemented 12 tissue remedy system in India successfully.
We are lucky to be with our previous generations who introduced biochemic medicine system and passed it on to us since our childhood as home remedy practices. I am very happy to share and thankful to the Govt. of India for giving due recognition and importance and authorization to practice it professionally.
