Making SENse Creative Making SENse Creative provides stimulating sensory activities to encourage and support creative communication

Making SENse Creative offers a unique service whereby we can do a range of creative sensory based activities including sensory art; table top gardening; sensory cooking; communication through touch; story-sharing and story massage. The provision is suitable for young adults with complex and profound disabilities; equally many of the activities are appropriate for individuals living with dementia.

So we’ve finally reached the last sensory story session of this academic year with pupils from Greenside school.
Finishing with the holiday flavour of “What the ladybird heard at the seaside “ by Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks.

I've posted two pictures of my dad and me enjoying quality time together- a chat and a calming hand massage. My dad would of been 87 today and these provide precious memories. Never underestimate a photograph to capture a special time.

Now it may look like an untidy mess but it’s an exciting selection of items just waiting to be used with this afternoons sensory story with Greenside School. The story is a wonderful new one called “Thank You “ by Jarvis.
