This April and May, we’re opening a few small and mindful workshop sessions for Soap Making 101. Each class is designed to be a warm, restful space where you can learn the craft at an easy pace, perfect for beginners who want to experience the beauty of handmade soap in a small group setting.

From my first class to my workshops today, a journey of care, craft, and faith.

January 31st, 2016… my son was just about six months old. I went to my very first soap making class, and honestly, I had no idea that day would start a journey that’s still going ten years later.

For those who’ve been with us since the beginning, or quietly cheered from the sidelines, you know why The Soap Story exists. It started because my son has sensitive skin, and I couldn’t find anything that really worked for him. I tried many products, and finally, an olive oil soap helped. That little relief gave me hope, and my husband, he’s amazing, by the way, he planted the courage in me to actually try making soap myself. And that was it. That simple nudge started it all.

Ten years later, I’m still making by hand, still learning, still teaching, but now with rhythm, with pauses, with intention. That’s what The Soap Story has always been about: making things with care, sharing what I’ve learned, and creating space for others to do the same.🤍
