Last night I experienced one of those God moments where simplicity is revealed through an innocence that most adults have forgotten (myself included). Children understand more than we give them credit for and they can mirror to us the power of trusting what we are feeling... here is what I want to share with you....
I was tucking in a sweet little 6 year old boy last night and after telling him a story and turning the lights off we snuggled and I began speaking in tongues / Light language over him (I have done this once before with him and he didn't really engage)... but this time was different. When I finished, he said "But I don't understand what you said..." I replied "You're not supposed to understand with your head. You are to listen and understand with your heart." In only one heart beat of time, he replied to me "OH! You said, 'I love you' and you shot it straight into my heart!"
This... is one of many things this spiritual gifting does and why it is for all people regardless of your belief system. It is about surrendering the mind just enough to awaken the heart... to feel Love's Presence in a moment in time and believe that there 'is something more'. In short: It gives hope in the mysterious ways of God and our walk here on earth.
