Dr. Ajrawat served as President of the Maryland State Medical Society (MEDCHI) from 2011-2013. He has also served as President of the Prince Georges County Medical Society, The Indian American Medical Society of Greater Washington (IAMA) and The Indian American Urological Association of North America. In 2010, Dr. Ajrawat was honored by the Maryland State Medical Society and awarded the Dr. Henry

P. & H. Paige Laughlin Award for dedicated and outstanding service as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee from 2007-2010. In 2009 he received the Sushruta Award from the IAUA for outstanding contribution and achievement in the field of Urology. In 2011 he was bestowed with the Distinguished Physician & Community Service Award by the IAMA. He is a member of the American Urological Association, American Association of Clinical Urologists, Mid-Atlantic Urology Association & The Indian American Urological Association (IAUA). He is also a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), the Maryland State Medical Society (MEDCHI) & the Prince Georges County Medical Society.
