everyday the learning in your life will never be done. There will always be new information, new trends, new best practices, new tools, and new opportunities.

ALL of which can be explored through by taking the time to invest in yourself!

If someone took away your job, took away your business, stripped you of your money, or took away your health, it would be your knowledge that brought those things back to you.

Today I learned more about:
1)Mental health and how it relates to why we need to move our body
2)better nutrition practices and how we can simplify what we eat
3)how to better present information so the posts/content/ and podcast episode I create will be better understood.

I love learning, and it’s actually the skill of learning that for me as far as I am in my health journey today.

I eat foods I love everyday without any guilt, because I know it is HOW I eat those foods that will determine whether I gain weight or not.

Too many people cut out all the foods they love and try on diets that are way too strict, terribly bland, and are unrealistic to maintain. Losing weight is easy, but keeping it off is what is hard, and that is why what we do with our food has to be consistent & realistic.

You can still incorporate the foods and snacks you love, just follow these moderation tips so you don’t over eat, or take in any calories that you don’t realize!

This past weekend I had watched a friend play their gig at a brewery. I had pizza and a great light cider, all with no bloating or digestive issues.

Bloating, gas, constipation, tiredness after eating, stomach pain, and skin conditions all come from the bodies inability to absorb and digest what is in your stomach.

When we eat food, it is the gut bacteria’s responsibility to break down the food so we can absorb the nutrients through our intestinal wall.

But if your bacteria is too weak, it won’t be strong enough to break it down, which leads to gas and fermentation.

Also, feeding bad bacteria causes too much to be attacked instead of digested, which trigger inflammation in your body.

To improve these issues, start having more pre biotic foods like: kefir, miso, goat yogurt, almonds, and cabbage.

In regards to the final step which is estrogen, estrogen in the gut can attack the bacteria killing it off which makes@it harder to digest, so having food that are high in magnesium, zinc, and fiber, will help you get rid of excess estrogen floating.

Great foods for this are: h**p seeds, green leafy vegetables like spinach, leek, and lentils.

If you focus on these three steps, you will improve your digestion and your hormones at the same time!
