How to Release Energy Blocks

Do you believe this statement: We don’t even know why we believe what we believe.

Take a few minutes and really think about some of your beliefs. Why do you believe them?

When we don't know the true reason as to why we believe what we believe it is often because we pick up beliefs as children from adults. Our child brains don’t have the experience to understand it so we imprint these things in ways we can’t understand. These imprints of energy that hold us back are called “energy blocks”.

What kind of blocks do you want to get rid of?

There are many ways to get rid of these blocks such as through Reiki, meditations, AFT, EFT, journaling, chakra work, grounding, etc. There really is a million ways, but what is most important is that you pick one and you stick with it.

Consistency is key!

My personal favorites are Reiki and Meditation. What do you love to do?

**My Meditation Ritual**

For meditation, Frankincense goes on the forehead + crown (3rd eye chakra point and crown chakra) to open intuition.

If I want to balance all of my chakras during meditation, it could be as simple as placing Harmony EO Blend applied to all 7 chakras, if you just want one essential oil. If you have a lot of oils, you can check out the graphic and apply a specific one to each chakra point.

You can also just apply an essential oil to one chakra if you want to work on something specific.

After you apply the oils, just sit in meditation as you normally would.

If you are new to meditation, try a breathing meditation on youtube or you can listen to this song (chant along if you like) http://ed.gr/bs4v3.

The song is a protection mantra that means:

"I bow to the Primal Wisdom.
I bow to the Wisdom through the Ages.
I bow to the True Wisdom.
I bow to the great, unseen Wisdom"

Imbalances in your hormones are triggered by bad food. ⁣

If you eat sugar, you’ll produce more insulin, more estrogen, and more testosterone. Any type of flour and sugar can lead to these imbalances. ⁣

Dairy and gluten are often triggers for inflammation and hormonal imbalances. ⁣

Xenobiotics or environmental chemicals like pesticides in our food can act like powerful hormone disruptors and trigger our own hormones to go out of balance.⁣

We know that sugar, caffeine, alcohol, stress, and lack of exercise all contribute to worse PMS and all hormonal imbalances – including menopause.⁣

After removing the bad stuff, you will want to replace it with good stuff. ⁣

Eat a whole, real, unprocessed, organic, mostly plant-based diet with organic or sustainably raised animal products. When you focus on this type of diet, you minimize intake of xenoestrogens, hormones, and antibiotics. Taking simple steps like choosing organic food and drinking filtered water can hugely impact hormone balance.⁣

Getting good quality sleep every night and exercising regularly can help balance your hormones. Along with supplementing with Omega-3, vitamin D3, B vitamins, magnesium, and probiotics. ⁣
