"Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport announced Wednesday that it will require everybody -- employees and travelers, alike -- to wear a face mask starting June 1.
The mandate includes the terminals, the Rental Car Center, the PHX Sky Train, and Airport buses. If you're going to be in any public space in an airport facility, you will have to have some kind of mask."

Please wear a face covering. With the loosening of state guidelines for businesses comes more opportunity for exposure. Many other states are requiring a face covering in public, while others like AZ are not focussed on it. The virus does not recognize city, county, state or national borders. In order to continue to protect others from the spread, we hope our patients and their families will wear a face covering whenever going out of their home. Continue to stay at home as much as possible, and please be careful. These are very minimal steps that could save someone from exposure.

AZ stay at home restrictions and guidelines have been extended through May 15th, with some gradual economic/business modifications beginning May 4th. More information will be available as press releases and news updates occur. The Governor held a press conference at 3 pm today.

Criteria HAS NOT been met by AZ to start Phase 1 of re-opening states and lifting stay-at-home restrictions.
The White House's guidelines for reopening call for 14 days of a downward trajectory of influenza-like illnesses and COVID-like syndrome cases. They say there should be a downward trajectory of documented cases or for positive tests as a percent of total tests for 14 days, with a flat or increasing volume of tests. Hospitals should be able to treat all patients without crisis care and have robust testing in place for at-risk health care workers, including antibody testing.
