Good morning, beautiful souls,

I was raised to blend in, be agreeable, and not to ruffle any feathers. Experiences taught me to be seen meant that I could be a target for something undesirable.

And so I’ve stayed quiet, small, and apologetic when I find myself taking up space.

Can anyone else relate?

I have been intentionally working on changing this narrative within myself. I have been learning to shine my light brightly and unapologetically. 💜
