Dear Respected Intended Parents,
This is Mariam Kukunashvili, founder of New Life Global Network, who wants to approach you with very important information. First of all I would like to start with our initial operations in Cambodia. About a year ago, together with Estonian partners New Life Global Network established a clinic in Phnom Penh called European Fertility Center (EFC). New Life bared all administrative and marketing tasks, while our partners took all the responsibility of medical part including medical team, lab equipment and maintenance.
We planned first large group of programs last September and we were utterly disappointed because of success rates. Following month had same outcomes. Parents received few numbers of eggs, fertilized embryos had law quality and success rate was relatively disaster. We urged straight away to identify the reasons behind this first in order to find solutions. Very surprisingly we found that lab was not up to date and great majority of the equipment needed upgrades. We approached European specialists and got the information from them what needed upgrading urgently. However, our European partners did not consider our request ( it was more like a demand from us) and kept justification themselves that all was perfect and we should have continued with existing equipment.
For me personally, being in IVF field does not mean , that only goal and focus must be money making . I feel that when planning parents’ IVF program you should feel their pain, feel their emotions, feel their longing desire to have baby, especially while knowing that some of them have years of experience of unsuccessful attempts. Being IVF patient myself quite a while ago, with 11 failures, brings all my feelings back when I hear that someone has failed. Therefore, New Life Global Network, would never carry on working with a company not understanding the importance of intended parents’ care, care about their emotions, finances, wasted time and patience. Soon after refusal of our offer to upgrade the lab and be more responsible towards the intended parents, New Life Global Network left European Fertility Clinic ( EFC).
This note serves the fact that since we left, European Fertility Clinic (EFC) changed its name and now is operating as IVF Clinic Cambodia. Location is the same ( 8th Floor Central Hospital Phnom Phem), staff is the same, management and equipment are the same. Our desire is to notify any of you planning the IVF program soon to be cautious while choosing the clinic. There are many options in Cambodia and please do not let such dishonest, unfair and unprincipled clinic decide you fate of future. They will make you drained emotionally and financially and you would still be without a child.
If this letter saves even one couple from being ripped off from IVF clinic Cambodia ( as they call themselves now) we would consider that the goal of this letter was achieved.
