I am a Qualified therapeutic Counsellor, Insured and currently working in Private Practice in Sheffield, S10 area. I offer one to one sessions lasting 1 hour, Counselling or longer term Psychotherapy. It is important to feel heard, listened to, and that is exactly what I will do, listen in a non-judgemental, kind, empathic way. You will be able to talk freely, safe in the knowledge that my only aim is to help you find ways to deal with whatever it is right now that has caused you to seek help. I mostly work in the Person Centred theory that believes we all have the ability to self heal, help ourselves, but a little extra support and guidance helps that goal to be achieved. As an integrative Counsellor I can draw upon a number of therapies to custom fit what suits you best. I work with many issues that may be hindering your ability to move forward and make the best of life right now inc:

Life may suddenly feel very lonely or empty after losing a much loved pet, these feeling can become overwhelming. You might feel friends and family don't understand, and want to share your feelings with someone who’s been through it, someone who won’t judge you and who will wholeheartedly understand and care for how you are feeling. Preparing for the inevitable can often be extremely daunting and may feel impossible to face alone. I offer a support service for anyone preparing for the end of their pets life or parting with their pet. I can also companion you to the vets at the time if you feel unable to go through it alone. With larger animals such as horses I can come to the yard and be there with you for emotional support. How often do you put your phone on silent, turn it off? Resist the temptation to have a quick look or check socials !
Maybe today find a spot in the day today to silence that digital noise, walk or sit in nature, look around, close your eyes & notice what you can hear, even if it’s the rain on your hood, or wind in the trees, ripples on a pond, footsteps on the pavement, just notice the sounds of world around you, breathe it in, & think how it feels, you might be surprised 😊🤞🏼🙏🏼

As we move towards the end of the weekend, thoughts turn to the upcoming week. We often prioritise our responsibilities, and whilst this is important, we need to remember to prioritise our own needs for rest and recuperation.

This is a charity I work with, providing counselling for people who have experienced a traumatic bereavement, or been affected by an event such as a road traffic accident, drowning or fire.
The charity provides lots of different support, please look us up & get in touch if you think you might benefit from some of the services.
