Working out your body isn’t only about weights and cardio. Stretching plays an equally important role in your body’s physical health!
PAN ROASTED CHICKEN
• 3-4 large bone in chicken breasts
• 1/2 C. olive oil + a bit more to coat vegetables
• 1/4 C. mustard
• 1/8 C. coconut aminos (find in whole food section)
• 3 cloves of garlic minced
• 1/3 C. chardonnay
• 6 carrots
• 3 shallots
• 1/2 Tbsp. chopped thyme
• Season chicken breasts liberally with salt and let sit for 1 hour
• In a large Ziplock bag combine olive oil, mustard, coconut aminos, garlic, thyme and Chardonnay
• Add chicken breasts and marinate for 4- 8 hours
• Preheat oven to 425*
• Cut carrots into 1-2 inch pieces
• Chop shallots into quarters
• Place carrots and shallots into a bowl and toss to coat with olive oil and salt and pepper
• Remove chicken breasts from marinade (optional: coat with panko bread crumbs)
• In a large cast iron skillet arrange chicken breasts
• Add vegetables to pan and arrange around chicken breasts
• If there are additional vegetables, add to separate baking dish to cook
• Place in oven and cook until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165*, roughly 30 minutes but start checking at 15 minutes to see where you're at
• Once cooked remove and let stand covered for 10 minutes

Tips to help with meal prepping:⭐
👉Tip #1: Eating a healthy dinner each night can be easier than ever before if you meal prep over the weekend. Prepping for meals that you’re going to eat all week long can be knocked out on specific days one to two times per week, making the other days less stressful.🥘🥘🥘🥑🥑🥑
And you can also save time by using Sunday to chop the veggies you plan to use throughout the week, or to cook up a batch of protein (eggs, chicken, etc.) or grains for various meals. 🍗🥚🍆
👉Tip #2: Meal prep does not necessary mean cooking food ahead of time. Food prep can be anything - such as chopping up onions, peppers, or other vegetables🥕🥦 ahead of time or cutting up chicken or beef to be recipe ready. It can also be washing fruits and vegetables so they are ready for snacks, 🍏🍎 or portioning out mixed nuts🥜, crackers, and other food items for snacks.
👉 Tip #3: Even the littlest bit of food prep makes a difference.
It is most important to make the most of the time you have and do what you can. One thing that I've learned is that SOME food prep is better than NO food prep at all. Why?
🌟 There is no right or wrong way to food prep.
🌟 The options are endless, so you can create variety easily
🌟 To be sustainable, meal prepping needs to fit into your lifestyle.
Basically this means do what works for you. If the only thing you want to prep each week are hard-boiled eggs, then that’s fine!
👉Tip #4: Give yourself time to reap the rewards and make it a habit🤩🤩Like any weight loss strategy it is really important to keep at meal prepping long enough to experience the benefits, see the results, and form new habits. Don’t throw in the towel if it doesn’t work out the first time (or the first few times.) 🍽 Adapt and overcome, expect to make adjustments along the way, and remember that food prep is about making your life easier. 🗼
👉Tip #5 Enjoy the benefits! It's a little easier to have a better day knowing that you have a yummy meal waiting for you when you get home. 🏡T

We tend to always think we are meant to feel hungry. We see lots of people who say ‘I didn’t have my snack as I wasn’t hungry’
We shouldn’t be eating just because we are hungry we are eating to fuel our body. Once you have had no food for 3 hours sugar level will start to drop, energy will drop with it and cravings may start to appear.
