Is there anything worse than running out of a spice in the middle of a recipe? 😫 No, UNLESS you have some trusty essential oils hanging around. 😉 A drop of cinnamon bark and clove vitality is all I needed to complete our favorite Chai Banana Bread recipe last week! No measuring needed. 🙌🏻

IMPORTANT: When cooking/baking with oils always make sure that they are pure and meant for ingesting.👍🏻

Columbus chose to be rainy, dreary, and depressing all week so chili it is. We went with Ambitious Kitchen’s Turkey Chili, which is one of our absolute favs. Swapped out the turkey with beef then topped it with 🥑, Greek yogurt, shredded cheese, and crushed Tostitos Salsa Verde chips. BIG fans. 🙌🏻

One year ago I got my first Young Living Kit completely unsure of how to use the different oils and the many benefits each provided. After 12 months of practice and experimenting I have officially fallen in love and begun to incorporate them into my cooking regimen! Our first creation was a reconstructed hibachi dinner. 😋Who doesn’t love leftovers!? Spiced it up with some chicken, shrimp, coconut aminos, and of course my digestion supporting ginger! Tips for cooking with oils:

1. Always dilute with a carrier oil such as coconut or olive oil before adding to recipes for your safety and to disperse the flavor!
2. A little goes a long way! A drop or two per recipe is plennnnty.
3. Wait until the end to stir in with stovetop recipes as the oils can dissipate quickly in high heat.
4. Not all essential oils are safe to ingest so make sure to double check before adding to your recipes!

Spread coconut oil on one side of wheat bread. Flip it over and spread a heaping spoonful of pesto on the other side and top with slices of smoked cheddar. Place coconut oil side down in a stove pan over medium heat. Cover with lid until bread is toasted to your preference and cheese is melted. Top with two eggs and prepare to be amazed. 😱

🎵She's just the flavor of the week🎵 HA. More like flavah of my LIFE. This chai Spiced Homemade Almond Milk ain't leaving my life anytime soon. Add it to coffee, lattes, oats, chia pudding, or straight outa yo glass!

Spice it up, ya'll! -> Whip up a batch of my homemade almond milk (link in bio👆🏼) and blend in 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon, 1/2 tsp cardamom, 1/2 tsp sea salt, 1/4 tsp ground ginger, 1/8 tsp all spice, 1/8 tsp ground cloves, and 1/8 tsp nutmeg after you strain!

Protein cups? That's what's up! 🍳 Whipped up a batch of these mini frittatas as I started my first week of the Whole30 and let me tell ya. They turned out HELLA lit. So simple. So easy. DO IT YA'LL.

Beat 10 eggs in a bowl and sauté 1/4 cup each of chopped mushrooms, spinach, onions, peppers and any other veggies of your choice in a skillet over medium heat. Evenly distribute the sautéed veggies and scrambled eggs into muffin tins. Pop into the oven at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes and voila!😋

Clear proof that I am willing to do whatever it takes for my health. After waking up under the weather I knew that something needed to be done and FAST. I quickly took Dana Monsees' advice and whipped up this natural cold remedy full of powerful antioxidants. Let me tell yah, it sounds crazy but totally works! Within hours this chica was slowly coming back to life. Bring it on, cold season!! 👊🏽
