As we close out the year, we're deeply grateful for your belief in community mental health and wellness.

We're in the final days of our End-of-Year Campaign to meet our $25,000 goal for the EMHS Crisis Fund. Your support ensures crisis response and mental health care remain accessible for uninsured and underinsured community members.

We're so close — and now is a powerful moment to give.

Your generosity makes healing possible today and into the new year. Thank you for standing with our communities.

We wish you a peaceful and healthy New Year.

In this season of gathering and giving, we’re witnessing resilience everywhere: neighbors checking in, teachers comforting students, and community partners working tirelessly to support families.

Your support of the EMHS Crisis Fund helps make emergency relief and trauma-informed healing spaces possible — especially during the holidays.

Help us reach our $25,000 goal before the end of the year. 🤍

Our sincere gratitude to Ida Roldan, Ph.D., LCSW, for her dedicated leadership of the EMHS Board since 2020. We are grateful for her support in co-leading the EMHS Board through challenges and successes during this time and for stepping up in every way when she is needed. We look forward to her continued participation on the Board as she steps down as Co-Chairperson and welcomes Lucy Gomez Feliciano as Co-chairperson with Nancy Burke.

Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, and we’re launching our End of Year Campaign to strengthen the EMHS Crisis Fund — with a generous $10,000 match to double your impact.

Your gift will help provide:
• Emergency relief for neighbors facing displacement and family separation
• Crisis-responsive therapeutic care for individuals and families under acute stress
• Support groups, workshops, and stabilization services for youth, parents, helpers & community leaders

✨ With your help, our neighbors can access care, connection, and safety — even in unstable times.

Giving Tuesday is two weeks away, and our team is preparing to meet the growing needs of our neighbors. We are working alongside our partners and community partners to provide care for those directly impacted by the recent ICE presence and detentions—families who are navigating fear, disruption, and uncertainty every day.

In response, our clinicians and community engagement team are facilitating support groups for those affected and for frontline helpers, offering crisis funds and emergency referrals, leading workshops, facilitating workshops, and providing trauma-informed therapeutic services for our communities. We remain committed to showing up with compassion, reliability, and culturally responsive care, even in moments of heightened distress.

As we approach December 2nd, we invite you to stand with us. Your support strengthens our capacity to care for those who need it most when they most need it. Stay tuned for ways you can join our Giving Tuesday efforts and help ensure our neighbors are safe, supported, and not alone.
