The barefoot nutritionist.
Living and practicing in the African bushveld.
Rooted in science. Grounded in nature.
Out here, under the wide skies of the South African bush, I work with what I call my Rainbow Roots Protocol 🍎
It’s simple in concept, powerful in practice:
Heal from the roots up.
Like an acacia tree standing strong against the wind, we don’t just polish the leaves when something feels off. We look at the soil. The water. The roots. The flow of life underneath it all.
In my world, that means:
🌿 Real food in all its colours (my Rainbow 70 philosophy)
🌿 Breath that fuels every cell
🌿 Nervous system support
🌿 Gut health and detox pathways
🌿 Hormone balance
🌿 Energy at a cellular level
And yes… often barefoot. Because grounding isn’t just a metaphor.
There’s something special about driving out to a practice surrounded by bushveld. The pace slows. The air changes. Your shoulders drop before we even begin. Healing feels different when it happens close to the earth.
No sterile hospital smell.
No rushing between appointments.
Just conversation. Education. Practical tools. And a path forward that makes sense for your real life.
This cartoon made me laugh — because it’s playful… but it’s also true. That’s me. Apple in hand. Roots deep in the soil. Passion for helping people reclaim their energy, their metabolism, their spark.
So here’s my question…
Would you drive out to my practice? 🚗🌾
Would you choose a space that feels a little wild, a little real, and a lot intentional?
If you’ve visited before, tell others what it’s like.
If you haven’t — what would you want to know before making the trip?
Healing doesn’t have to happen in a white room.
Sometimes it starts under a tree.
