🍳🌞 What has happened to our kids breakfasts! 🍩✨

Ever wonder why the cereal aisle feels like a stroll through a sweets store these days? Breakfasts, once simple and hearty, have transformed into sugar-loaded desserts. 🎂🥄

🤯 The Shocking Reality: Some cereals are worse than cake, packed with hidden sugars and lacking real nutrition. We've traded boiled eggs for a sugar-laden bowl that leaves us hungry by 9.30am.

👶 Kids' Breakfast Betrayal: Children's breakfasts, once about nutrition, have become sugar-coated temptations, thanks to big food corporations and flashy packaging. Where's the bone, muscle, and brain development in these ultra-processed, sugary delights? No wonder there are behaviour issues!

🚫 The Sugar Trap: Breakfast is dubbed the new dessert for a reason. The cereal aisle resembles a sugar-loaded dessert buffet, leaving us questioning when it became acceptable to start our day with carbs, sugar, and unpronounceable ingredients.

💡The solution: Flip those boxes and read the nutrition panels. Don't believe their health claims of "rich in vitamins", "a great source of protein", you know what is packed with nutrition and protein - an egg. Educate yourself, opt for options like eggs, sausage, and leftovers. Fuel your day with quality protein and healthy fats for an energy boost without the insulin spike. Let's make breakfast a true hearty start again! 🌅🥓
