Hijacking can happen to anyone at any time of the day.
It was a normal day for our client's driver, just going about the standard routine of dropping his colleague off at the end of the day until he was viciously hijacked in a place very familiar to him.
We were able to retrieve the vehicle and thankfully the driver was safe and found stowed in the cargo area of the vehicle 🙌
Hijackers sit, watching and waiting for an unsuspecting victim, as seen in the video, they won't hesitate using brute force to get what they want.
Don't fall prey!💪
Here are a couple of tips for keeping safe on the roads:
Change your routine: It's easy to be lulled into a sense of comfort on a route that you take 100s of times a year, however, 9 times out of 10 crime happens when you least suspect it.
Be observant: You are only secure when you focus on your security, trust your gut, take in your surroundings so you can identify possible threats and escape routes.
