Welcome 2026

Each season with your little one is different. Some seasons focus on nurturing, others on building character, and some on discipline. In every season, you as a parent also evolve, you learn, grow, and step into who you are called to be as a mother, father, or caregiver.

Our practice is dedicated to walking alongside you: to guide, support, and help that calling come into fulfilment. Every little one has a unique potential within them, and we are here to help that potential come to life.

A home and a toddler? A whirlwind of giggles, crumbs, chaos, and tiny adventures!

Through this Stimulation Training Program, we assisted the family in creating toddler-friendly play spaces, encouraging purposeful exploration, and providing a visual stimulation activity poster for the caregiver. All tailored specifically to their home and available toys.

We also offered guidance on potty-training readiness, what to include in a home emergency kit, and provided a laminated emergency contact list for quick access on the fridge.

With a new family intake this week, I am reminded of how beautiful it is to cultivate one's environment for a new season, for new life.

The Stimulation Training program focuses on understanding your home and your heart, and then pursuing new stimulation intentionally. Practically, the program focuses on play activities, systems for your home and safety guidelines.

It is more than wanting what is best for your child, it's a deeper desire to fulfill what you are called for, with what you have and where you are.

Stimulation Training assists parents to implement the following in their home, alongside with their chosen caregiver/nanny:

1. Effective communication between the parents and caregiver (resources to assist you in this manner can be made).
2. Purposeful play spaces and ideas, with items you already have in your home.
3. Educational experience regarding your little one's developmental stage and milestones.
4. Implementation of safety guidelines to keep your little one safe and protected at all times.

*Today marked the last session with the recent family intake. We implemented an observation book for the caregiver (uniquely designed with their requirements). We also made a visual poster with all the stimulation activities. The family also received a report with all the topics discussed during the training.

The Stimulation Training for Babies & Toddlers is a beautiful space of collaboration between the therapist, nanny, and parents.
It focuses on creating and being creative with spaces, new ideas, and plans, while understanding the heart, needs, and wants of both the parents and their caregiver or nanny.

Through this program, the occupational therapist approaches each family with an open mind, working uniquely with their routines and environment. The purpose is to stimulate the family’s baby or toddler through play in their home setting, supporting development and growth toward their best potential.

New family intake: Stimulation Training for Babies & Toddlers

We covered a home intake assessment, the mother–nanny relationship, and ways to communicate and manage routines. We also discussed developmental stages and supporting the transition back to work after maternity leave. The next few weeks we will focus on practical stimulation, play ideas and setting up appropriate play spaces at home.
