Treatment is available. It’s not just stimulant medication. But life-skills training, cognitive behavioural training and coaching can be very effective in reducing the burden of the symptoms on your function. ADHD is chronic, yes, but it can be successfully managed with the right supports so that individuals can be more functional and enjoy greater quality of life.
