If you need to call for an ambulance, follow these steps:

1. Stay Calm Take a deep breath and try to remain as calm as possible.

2. Dial Emergency Number: 021-761-9305

3. Provide Information: When the operator answers, clearly state:
- Your location (address or landmarks)
- Nature of the emergency
- Any known medical conditions or details about the person in need of help.

4. Follow Instructions: The operator may give you specific instructions to follow while waiting for the ambulance.

5. Stay on the Line: Do not hang up until the operator tells you to.

6. Prepare for Arrival: If possible, make sure the area is clear for the ambulance and that someone is available to guide them to the patient.

Make sure to keep your phone handy for updates or further instructions.

Abit of a different call 🚑

This is young Morgan Faye van Der Heever. She has big dreams of becoming a paramedic one day and needed help with her career project for school. Our Cape Town crew jumped into action spending some time with her, answering all her questions, showing her how the equipment works and even giving her a chance to use the radio. Our crew really enjoyed the time spent with her.
