A 2nd MRI machine for the Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town

Good morning!
Today should have been my MRI day at the Tygerberg hospital. I have waited 7 month for it.
But when I was preparing my car yesterday, filled up with petrol and checked the oil, the petrol attendant, noticed that the belt does not look healthy. 😔😔
After hunting the whole village for one without success, I have decided to give it over and it was a higher intervention to keep me save on the road.
So I have cancelled the appointment for today and rescheduled for the 23 September 2024.

There you see, how much a 2nd MRI machine is needed.
So please help and donate, it is very very much appreciated!

Why the funding amount is so high:
As you can see in the attached image, the budget was made in US$.
The budget not only includes the machine itself, but the maintenance thereof and installation of the machine. This was done with the thought, that there will be no costs for the Tygerberg Hospital to get the machine, except another few staff.
ZAR29mio = USD1,513,579.30 = EUR1,423,232.56

Good day and Hello!
I have created this page to make aware, of the urgent need of a 2nd MRI machine for the Tygerberg hospital in Cape Town. Why this is close to my heart you may ask? Well, last year March, I was very fortunate to receive excellent help from the Neurosurgery department. Without the surgery, I am not sure how or if I would be alive today.
What was very apparent then and is now, that the need for another MRI machine is urgent. So many patience are flowing through this hospital, which is not in thousands, but the numbers are in the millions.
The waiting period for an appointment is now good seven month. Well, this is what I am waiting as an out patient.

The doctors there are not only skilled, but kind and doing such great work. One can truly say, making this world a better place.

So, this is for me saying thank you again and hoping and praying to be able in assisting to get this wonderful place another much needed MRI machine.

Please help - no matter the amount, all is being appreciated. Spread this page!
