Carrot & Sweet Potato Dog Stick Treats 🥕🍠🐾
These Carrot & Sweet Potato Dog Stick Treats are a chewy, nutritious snack that your pup will love. Packed with vitamins, fiber, and natural sweetness, they’re great for training, rewards, or everyday snacks.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup mashed sweet potato (cooked and cooled)
1/2 cup finely grated carrot
1 large egg
1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil (optional, for moisture)
1 1/2 cups oat flour (or whole wheat flour)
1/4 cup rolled oats (optional, for texture)
1-2 tablespoons water (if needed for consistency)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Prepare the Dough
In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potato, grated carrot, egg, and olive oil (if using). Stir until well blended.
Gradually add the oat flour and rolled oats (if using). Mix until a thick, pliable dough forms. If the dough feels too dry, add water 1 tablespoon at a time.

3. Shape the Stick Treats
Roll small portions of dough into stick shapes about 4-5 inches long and 1/2 inch thick. Flatten slightly if desired for even baking.

4. Bake
Place the sticks on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until firm and slightly golden. For crunchier treats, bake an additional 10-15 minutes.

5. Cool Completely
Let the sticks cool completely on a wire rack before serving them to your dog.

Storage:
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
Freeze for up to 1 month. Thaw before serving.
Benefits:
Sweet Potato: Rich in fiber and beta-carotene, promoting digestion and overall health.
Carrot: High in vitamins A and C, supporting vision and immune function.
Oat Flour: Gentle on digestion and gluten-free, perfect for dogs with sensitivities.
Egg: Provides protein and nutrients for a shiny coat.
Olive Oil (Optional): Adds healthy fats for skin and coat health.
These Carrot & Sweet Potato Stick Treats are a wholesome and tasty way to reward your furry friend. Perfect for chewing, training, or just showing them some love! 🐕✨
