Looking for Undigitized Archival Collections

Hi everyone,
I’m sharing this here because a simple enquiry in a few genealogy groups wasn’t well-received, so I’m posting from my own page instead.

I’m looking for institutions or custodians—big or small—that hold large volumes of records which haven’t been digitised yet. This could include archives, museums, libraries, churches, cemeteries, municipal departments, or private historical collections.

I've recently begun working with a large international digitisation company that has the capacity to take on major projects anywhere in the world.
For larger collections, digitisation may even be offered free of charge in exchange for a non-exclusive license to publish transcriptions—while the institution retains full ownership of the original records and all digital files.

If you know of any place sitting on significant undigitized material, I’d truly appreciate a lead. Private messages are welcome.

Thank you for helping keep our history accessible and preserved for future generations.

How I got started

Growing up there were a few influential people in my life who were interested in their heritage, including my dad and my grandad. And so, the “bug” or curiosity, shall I say, naturally was passed down to myself as well as some of my cousins. Whenever we would get together we would wind up discussing old family rumours and legends.

So a couple of years ago, after I had my kids, I found myself with some time on my hands (Nap Time!) and so I just sort of fell into genealogy. I can’t tell you at which point I became passionate about it but needless to say I felt I had finally found my niche. After many years of being a freelance graphic designer, liking what I do but not LOVING it, it was like a breath of fresh air finding something so special to me.

I kept it to myself for a few years but as most know, being a stay at mom can be tough, especially on the budget! And since I seem to have a flare for this sort of thing I decided to start trying to help others with their research/family tree/genealogy.

I am working to incorporated my design skills with my genealogy passion, so watch this space for new exciting products/offers.
