What does a medical aesthetician with over 20 years of experience have on her treatment bucket list for 2026?
Here’s why these treatments made the cut:

NIR Skin Tightening Laser
Uses near-infrared energy to heat the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production and improving firmness with no downtime.

Radiofrequency (RF)
Delivers controlled heat into the dermis to tighten skin, improve laxity, and strengthen skin structure over time.

Growth Factor Microneedling
Combines microneedling with bio-identical growth factors to accelerate skin repair, boost collagen, and improve texture, scars, and tone.

Growth Factor Induction Therapy (GFIT)
A regenerative facial treatment that floods the skin with growth factors to support cellular renewal, hydration, and overall skin vitality.

MicroFirm
An advanced combination of radiofrequency, microneedling, and AQ Cell Regulators to tighten, regenerate, and restore skin quality on both the face and body.

Micro Plasma Resurfacing (new to Pulse)
A precision resurfacing treatment that improves texture, fine lines, and skin tone by stimulating controlled skin regeneration and collagen renewal.

Strategic, science-led treatments.
Designed for long-term skin health, strength, and glow — not trends.

Microfirm is one of the best treatments we offer for not only bringing the glow back to your skin, but for working deep within the skin to regenerate, tighten, and visibly reverse the signs of ageing.

This advanced, non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatment combines radiofrequency energy, microneedling, and AQ Cell Regulators to stimulate collagen and elastin while improving skin texture and tone.

The result? Stronger, firmer, healthier-looking skin with a natural, radiant glow - the kind that doesn’t rely on makeup.

Because great glowing skin starts with healthy skin.

Fix these in 2026! Learn more...

As a Medical Aesthetician, these are the 3 skin concerns I’ve seen over and over again in 2025 — and what they all have in common: they’re preventable, treatable, and often made worse by the wrong habits.

1. Pigmentation + Hormonal Pigmentation (Melasma)
This has been the biggest concern of the year. From UV exposure to heat, hormones, pregnancy, and incorrect skincare — melasma is complex and stubborn, but absolutely manageable with the right treatment plan. From Cosmelan to tailored chemical peels and laser, we create structured protocols that actually work.

2. Acne & Adult-Onset Acne
Stress, hormones, lifestyle changes, and harsh skincare have caused a spike in clients struggling with breakouts well into their 30s, 40s and beyond. Acne isn’t just a teenage problem, and it requires professional guidance, not guesswork.

3. Impaired Skin Barriers
Probably the most common underlying issue.
Over-exfoliating, mixing active ingredients incorrectly, TikTok DIY advice, and using the wrong products for your skin type have left many skins red, reactive, inflamed and sensitised. A damaged barrier makes every skin concern worse, from acne to pigmentation.

✨ The good news?
Each of these conditions responds exceptionally well to a personalised, medically-guided treatment approach.

If you’re struggling with any of these, book a consultation and let’s rebuild, repair and get your skin back to its healthiest, strongest state in 2026.

and yes, it’s completely pain-free. Learn more...

NIR (Near-Infrared) Skin Tightening is one of our most-loved non-invasive treatments for lifting, firming and rejuvenating ageing skin. Using advanced light-based technology, NIR gently heats the deeper layers of the dermis to stimulate fresh collagen and elastin, the building blocks that keep your skin smooth, supple and youthful.

Why clients swear by it:
• Tightens and firms mild to moderate laxity
• Softens fine lines and wrinkles
• Improves texture and overall skin quality
• Safe for all skin tones
• Pain-free with zero downtime
• Delivers instant glow + gradual tightening over time

It’s ideal for areas showing early signs of ageing, giving you subtle but visible rejuvenation without discomfort or downtime.

If smoother, tighter, fresher skin is your goal… NIR is the treatment your future face will thank you for.

What effects could these have? Learn more...

Bad habits that sneak up on your skin during the holidays… and how a few simple tweaks can save you from breakouts, pigmentation and dehydration in January.

1. Sleeping with your makeup on
Late nights make it tempting, but clogged pores and breakouts aren’t worth it.
How to avoid it:
Keep micellar water + cotton pads next to your bed for a quick cleanse on nights when you’re exhausted. Even a “lazy cleanse” is better than none.

2. Not reapplying your sunscreen
You’re outdoors more, driving more, sweating more, SPF needs topping up.
How to avoid it:
Carry a travel-size SPF or SPF mist in your bag and reapply every 2–3 hours. Your future self (and your pigmentation) will thank you.
Avoiding this mistake = less need for IPL in January.

3. Overindulgence & dehydration
More sugar, alcohol, and heat = thirsty, tight, dull skin.
How to avoid it:
Match every drink with a glass of water, add a hydrating serum daily to keep your glow intact.

December doesn’t have to mean damage control in the new year.
With a few smart habits, you can enjoy the holidays and protect your skin.
