Meet Turay Turay, narrative alum of a Naked Narratives workshop series. “I think Jheanelle is brilliant in the program she developed. The conversations we were having and the way she interpreted our pieces and hosted conversation, it was very gentle but also very powerful..to be in a space of all femme expressed folks across gender...It was also amazing as an introductory writers residency..because I didn’t know I had a lot of trauma around writing, so it was a good way to honor my voice and be unafraid and have a certain respect for its uniqueness and however its alive to the paper.
