Administrative Assistant

A vacancy has arisen for an Administrative Assistant at Pharmacy at SPAR DC, Carletonville. Suitable applicants with sound communication and organising skills are invited to apply for this vacancy.

1. JOB GRADE: LEVEL 2

2. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative support to the SPAR pharmacy network;
- Oversee the onboarding of new pharmacies with the different medical aids;
- Prepare and submit various reports;
- Assist with the registration process of PCNS/BHF;
- Ensure updated fee structure and manage related queries;
- Keep up to date with regulatory and Industry changes and communicate accordingly.

3. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Matric or Pharmacy related qualification;
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English;
- Proven experience in an administrative role;
- Detailed-oriented; takes initiative; resourceful; professional;
- Strong time management and organizational capabilities;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Good understanding of confidentiality and handling sensitive information.

Maintenance Supervisor

A vacancy has arisen for a Maintenance Supervisor at S Buys Pharmacy at SPAR DC, Carletonville. Suitable applicants with strong work ethics are invited to apply for this vacancy.

1. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule.
- Supervise and co-ordinate maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Ensure minimal equipment downtime and Operational efficiency.
- Assign tasks and oversee daily maintenance operations.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend necessary upgrades and repairs.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits and compliance checks.
- Compiling annual maintenance plan and reports.

2. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Grade 12 (NQF 4)
- Own vehicle, with a valid driver's licence
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Proven experience in a maintenance or repair role
- Previous experience in a supervisor or leadership role
- Understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills to improve maintenance processes

HR OFFICER AND SDF

S Buys Pharmacy at SPAR has a vacancy for an HR Officer and Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) at their DC in Carletonville. Suitable applicants with sound communication and interpersonal skills are invited to apply for this vacancy.

1. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide a recruiting service to the Company, ensuring high-quality staff for all divisions.
- Onboarding all new employees, ensuring an effective start to their career.
- Prepare and submit the annual WSP and ATR to the HWSETA.
- Coordinate and manage all other training needs within the Group, including bursaries, learnerships and informal training.
- Assist with all other generalist ad hoc projects within the department, e.g. BEE, EE, Engagement surveys, etc.
- Assist with creating organisational effectiveness throughout the Company.
- Assist with all IR related processes, including grievances, counselling and disciplinaries.

2. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in HR or related qualification.
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.
- 3-5 years proven experience in a Human Resources or Skills role.
- Detailed-oriented, takes initiative, resourceful, and professional.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good understanding of confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
