Why should you do your HPV vaccine? 🌸

vaccination to prevent cervical cancer will be conducted at public, special, private and independent schools by healthcare workers, targeting grade 5-7 girls who are 9 years old and above. Others who fall outside this target can get this vaccine from a general practitioner.

Public and Special Schools from 03 February until 31 March 2025.
Private and Independent Schools from August-September 2025.

Cervical cancer is highly preventable through the HPV vaccination. Parents, caregivers and legal guardians are encouraged to sign the consent form to ensure that their children do not miss out on life-saving vaccinations and other Integrated School Health Programme services.

Girls 12 years or older may also provide their own assent or agreement to be vaccinated.
