Roads Update for Swartland Region: Approximately 15km outside of Malmesbury the road surface of the KLIPHEUWEL road has washed away. Law Enforcement are on site and a stop and go system is in place. Drivers are encouraged to make use of alternative routes.

Dalsig low water bridge in Malmesbury is flooded and closed to traffic. Please use alternative route.

The Old Kalbaskraal Road is still under water and road users are encouraged to please use alternative routes.

Swartland Hospital seeks family of patient

Swartland Hospital in Malmesbury is looking for the family or acquaintances of Mr Johan Muller (55), Date of birth 02/12/1968.

Mr Muller has a light complexion with brown eyes and brown hair, he is 1.66 meters tall. Mr Muller was brought to Swartland Hospital on the 28 June 2024 by ambulance with no known address.

Good day everyone, I have a lady coming on Sunday morning and hopefully many more Sunday mornings to come teach the Chatsworth youngsters about horses. She will be teaching many different things and will also assist with proper riding equipment. We are looking at starting with 5-6 kids who are really interested and who have their own horse.
