💪🏽UPPER BODY @ HOME💪🏽
Save it for your next upper body session this week✨💾
To all my home girls and boys, here is a quick home session targeting the whole upper body with just a pair of dumbbells. If you have a resistance band for warming up that’s a bonus too! 😄
Let’s Get it!!😎💪🏽
WARM UP
1️⃣Lower back stretches for 30 seconds each
2️⃣Cat cow stretches 8 reps
3️⃣Back and shoulder stretches 5 each side
4️⃣Lower and upper back stretches 6 reps
5️⃣Band work 30 seconds each

WEIGHTS
1️⃣Chest raises into front raises 10 reps x 4
2️⃣Bent over row into tricep kickback 10 reps each side x4
3️⃣Chest flys 12 reps x 4
4️⃣Bicep curls into overhead press 10 reps x 4

🔥LEG DAY @ HOME🔥

SAVE IT for your next home session💾

Yes it’s been an extended minute since I’ve posted any workouts on here (forgive me🥹), but having no time to go to the gym doesn’t mean your workout can’t continue at home! 🏠

Wanted to share my home leg session I did this weekend and with only a resistance band and dumbbells, my legs are so sore today!😮‍💨

WARM UP - I always start my lower body workouts with these to make sure my joints are also ready for the session
(30 seconds each)
🔸Lower back stretches
🔸Hip swings
🔸Leg swings
🔸Dynamic stretching

BAND WORK - love this to really push some blood into those muscles before the weights
🔸Side to side squats (3 sets of 30 secs)
🔸Side taps (3 sets of 30 secs each leg)

WEIGHTS - I only used dumbbells here or you can use the weight equivalent at home
🔸Goblet squat into RDLs (4 sets of 12)
🔸 Reverse lunge with pulse into knee raise (3 sets of 10)
🔸Elevated Glute bridges into single leg bridges (3 sets of 15)
(I used my couch here but you can use a stool, chair, anything to elevate your feet)

In this Durban heat and humidity, my hair has a mind of its own🥲so I combat it with the colossal styler which I absolutely love! And have been using for this past month (it even survived my gym test!👏🏽) and have zero complaints and zero stress when it comes to my hair styling👌🏽

WARM UP:
Resistance band or light weights to warm up rotator cuffs, upper back and chest.
WORKOUT:
1️⃣Shoulder Press Machine 4 sets of 10
2️⃣Cable Flys (working different parts of the chest muscles)
Upper cable - 3 sets of 10
Lower cable- 3 sets of 10
3️⃣Lateral Raises 4 sets of 10
(Can superset with front raises)
p.s. if you feeling it in your trap muscles, lower the weight!
4️⃣Chest Press Machine 4 sets of 10
