Dear Colleagues.
Israeli Apartheid Week (IAW) is an international series of events that seeks to raise awareness about Israel’s apartheid policies towards the Palestinians and to build support for the growing Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) campaign. This is purely a humanitarian issue and not one of religion. 😇
Just as the people of South Africa have suffered through Apartheid, so too, are the Palestinians suffering the same fate against the hands of the oppressive Zionists.😥
As the Muslim Students Association of the UKZN, Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine, we recognise the injustice that is being inflicted upon the people of Palestine, and in the upcoming Israeli Apartheid week, we have full intention to participate whole heartedly in actions to show our sturdy support against the inhumane conditions that Palestinians are being subjected to. We fully empathise with the Palestinians and we vow to go out of our way to publicly display the vile circumstances that befall our fellow human being.🙌
The UKZN Medical School MSA is fully for the Israeli Apartheid week and Anti-Zionism movement, and we promise unto ourselves, to open as many people’s eyes to the truth, to Boycott Israel and emancipate Palestine.✌
We encourage your participation in all events and see your support as a symbol of revolution, harnessing the power you have as a South African youth to take some action against oppression and tyranny.💪

DESIGN YOUR OWN RESISTANCE T-SHIRT:
MedMSA will provide plain t-shirts that you can get creative with by designing using anti-apartheid stencils and paint which will be made available!
POSTER EXHIBITION:
A poster presentation highlighting the situation in Palestine will be held to get you all caught up with the issue.
VIDEO SCREENING; POETRY BY RAFEEF ZIADAH:
Poetry is an excellent art of expression, hear about the plight of the Palestinians through this medium which is emotionally conveyed by Rafeef Ziadah
SHOW YOUR SUPPORT ON THE ANTI-APARTHEID MURAL :
The Anti-apartheid mural has become a symbol for IAW internationally, why not become a part of it?
