How to get your energy during the midlife journey?

Recommendations:

3. Cold showers:

Is self-love selfish and self-centered?

Self love is not about being entitled or selfish in any way. When self love is done right, it benefits you and the people around you GREATLY.

Healthy self love means creating reasonable boundaries to protect your energy + well-being.
If you are balanced, you can serve others at your best.

If you are in some sort of conflict, always settle for a win-win situation for you and the other person.

You can also ask yourself: β€œWhat would a self-loving person do in this situation?”

Society glorifies self-sacrifice too much. It’s healthier for your mental well-being to gently draw some boundaries where needed. SAYING NO is one form of SELF LOVE

Being in love with someone who doesn't feel the same way can be unpleasant. Now you seeing all the Valentines goodies in the stores so beautifully adorned, you thinking let me try one more time. You browsing to see what will be pleasing to your partner. Inside all you want to is to convince this person to love you and make you fee special.

You planning to cook your partner’s favorite foods for dinner with flowers, buying a new dress. Getting your hair and makeup done. In hopes that your partner will notice and approve. To show your dedication and love to him/her.

BUT... WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO YOURSELF
YOU KNOW...
It can make you feel like you are not enough or that something is wrong with you. You might start looking for red flags within yourself that don't really exist. This can lead to feelings of loneliness and self-doubt. Which will make you try even harder to get your partners approval.

The month of love, the emphasis on love can magnify such feelings. It can be difficult to see others around you exchanging gifts, sending flowers, and going on romantic dates when you are left with unreciprocated feelings.
While the feeling of missing out on something almost everybody else seems to be enjoying can be overwhelming. YET!!!

You deserve to be loved and cherished. YES YOU DO!

All your relationship reflect how you do relationships.

All the relationships in our life push and pull us in varying ways and to different degrees. In this experience we can loose ourselves. Trying to meet these demands from the false sense of PLEASING OTHERS. Unable to Say NO. βœ‹

This only leaves you feeling empty and lost. You keep having this sinking feeling of its never enough. "They' just take and take and take. My Lovely, this does not work in the long run.

What if, what if, what if? You say ...

Well, what if there was a way to transform your sensitivity into an asset so you CAN do whatever you want with confidence, clarity and ease while using your sensitivity superpowers?! You must be thinking NO WAY!

Yes we women are sensitive people.I have been told a few thousand times in my life "YOU ARE TOO SENSITIVE". This constant reminder that I am too sensitive created so many masks that at one stage I did not know who I was or what I wanted in life.

Have you been told you are too sensitive?

I was so tired of seeing my sensitivity as weakness. It left me feeling so exhausted, overwhelmed, frustrated, anxious and stuck. I turned my sensitivity as a strength and superpower. I embrace my sensitivity. I lead powerfully in the skin that I am in while embracing my talents. I found my voice where my fears and doubts just took a back seat.

On my self-mastery journey I stop striving to be perfect (perfectionism led me to hate my body, second guessing myself, doubting my decisions and living with fear and anxiety). Reclaimed my voice, health, energy, mind and confidence.
