I know lately I have been very quiet, but we have been dealing with quite a bit. I thought I'd share Robin's story to update you all 💖
Hopefully I can get back to posting regularly soon 💖
I am still taking bookings for readings, reiki and emotion releasing, just a limited amount per week 💖💖💖

Robin’s Story 🐦

Robin is a bright and resilient 3-year-old who faces a number of complex medical challenges, yet continues to meet each day with courage and a gentle smile. Since infancy, he has struggled with severe reflux, developmental delays, recurring infections, and sleep difficulties. His care involves a team of specialists, ongoing therapies, and continuous testing to better understand the root of his health concerns.

An MRI, Gscope, EEG, Sleep Study were recently done, which assisted us in receiving some answers. And we have just done procedures, such as removing his tonsils and adenoids, inserting grommets, and adjusting his iron and vitamin support, these are already helping improve his sleep and energy. Therapies such as speech and occupational therapy are guiding his progress. Further genetic testing may be necessary to provide more answers, in the meantime, he does fall under the CP diagnosis code.

Although his journey is filled with hospital visits, treatments, and uncertainty, Robin continues to shine with hope and has boundless energy along with his love for music and movement. His family and care team remain dedicated to helping him grow, thrive, and discover his fullest potential. 💕💙💕

I know it's been a while since my last real post, please bear with me for the long post ahead, but I would really like to put all my/our friends and followers in the loop.

Our precious Robin has had some challenges since he was born, sleep and reflux being huge, along with delayed milestones and delayed speech etc. We have done numerous therapies including physio to get him walking, these days he is running 🥳 as well as OT, speech therapy, chiro, and reflexology, along with other modalities. All his therapies have their place and are helping our little precious Robin Bird to progress in his time 🥰

It has been long and very tiring and at times, a frustrating journey, but we are getting closer to answers and to giving our special boy all the support and help he needs to be his own amazing self 🥳🥰

Our amazing Paediatrician has narrowed his condition down to possibly being a rare genetic condition, found in the last 10 or so years... 7q11.23 Duplication Syndrome, all the symptoms fit, it all makes sense, and reading the research, it made me realize I'm not in the dark and there are others on the same journey, though the boat may be teeny tiny ⛵ and not a cruise liner ⛴️...

We may need to do Genetic tests (unfortunately they cost a ton and medical aid doesn't cover it) but in the meantime, we will keep supporting him and doing what we can to help him progress in his own time 🥳🥰

It's been a amother busy week! Is it just me or have things been hectic? 😂 So here are some cards to help us head into the weekend on a good note! 🥰

It's been a very busy week and I've not had a chance to even touch my cards, so I thought I'd pull myself a message for the long weekend, and of course I just have to share! 🤩
Things are already in motion, so take time out to enjoy the quality time with loved ones this weekend. And remember even when others get into a flap, keep your emotions under control, so you can enjoy it all instead of being sucked into drama!
