It is locally run by a management and executive committee made up of people voted from the community. It renders all services relating to issues that arise from substance abuse. It is well structured nationally, provincially and locally. SANCA has 38 Clinics throughout the country, a well, represented transitional national board, a Mission and Vision Statement, a comprehensive Constitution and 7 portfolios dealing with human resources, treatment, prevention, community development, finance, research and marketing. All clinics have to attain a high standard of service before affiliation to the SANCA body is approved. In accordance with the rights of all peoples SANCA Witbank personnel sit on many committees e.g. Youth Against Crime, local and provincial Welfare Forums, local and provincial Substance Forums, Street Children, Case Flow (Justice) Committees, One Stop Community Projects e.g. Eyethu, Impendulu, and are often seen to drive a number of these processes.
