Energy cleansing is essential, as people's negative perceptions of you can be detrimental. Eya, maintaining a clean colon and aura is crucial for those with a calling or gift. The ego can manifest as confidence, but the line between the two is often blurred, leading to one being confused for the other. In spiritual contexts, ego can take the form of "specialness," where gifted individuals exhibit an "I am special" mindset, obsessing over power as a measure of their uniqueness. Spirituality indeed has a hierarchical structure, with not all spirits, guides, or gods being equal. However, this inequality lies not in power, but in authority. Authority and power are distinct concepts, power has no space in spirituality. In spiritual realms, authority and gifts are paramount, whereas in physical realms, power and talents dominate. Power is akin to a muscular truck driver, while authority is the slim traffic cop who regulates that driver. These concepts are not interchangeable. The former feeds the ego, operating in the flesh, and perpetuating competition, envy, jealousy, and superficiality. In contrast, the latter is a test of judgment, wisdom, and spiritual discernment, unlocking spiritual portals. heeeeeeh n'wena! vanhu varandza kuva hehla ka vanhu va'nwanyani.

Another thing that you should learn very early in your journey is to let go of your ego and understand that overcoming ego is an ongoing process that requires daily effort. The goal is to cultivate self-awareness and recognize when you're acting out of pride. Ego and light cannot coexist. Makoko atswalla Moya waba moporofeta wago sebone nix ngwanaka. That's why you people struggle with authenticity, you struggle because of ego. Because you lack the humility to learn, to walk the path and earn your place. You're quick to claim titles, titles you haven't yet earned. Labora lona. Anyway, you're wasting your own time and energy and ultimately risking your relationship with your guides.

Being African doesn’t mean agreeing with everything culture normalised.

Some things were wisdom.
Some things were survival.
And some things were never questioned because questioning was dangerous.

Culture is meant to guide you, not trap you.
Respect doesn’t mean silence.
Tradition doesn’t mean you stop thinking.

If something harms people, calling it “culture” doesn’t make it sacred.

To the initiate, family represents a profoundly transformative and noble challenge. Your family serves as your most significant catalyst for growth, encompassing the entire lineage, including those who have passed on, those living, and those yet to be born. These sacred soul contracts have the power to either elevate or hinder you. They exert the most profound influence on your personal life and spiritual journey. Your dynamic with them should be guided by a deep sense of self-awareness, wisdom, and an abundance of compassion.

The designation moChangani holds little significance for me, given the cultural and linguistic ties between vaChagani and vaTsonga. Nevertheless, employing this term as a pejorative is not only disrespectful to me as a Tsonga individual but also dehumanizing to the vaChangani. What I find truly objectionable is the use of 'Lechangani,' which exemplifies a blatant disregard for our shared humanity. The proper forms are Motho_Batho, MoTswana_BaTswana, and MoZulu_BaZulu. It is disconcerting to note that when referring to Tsonga/Changani people, this standard is not upheld. This omission is a result of our humanity being overlooked. I expect to be treated with dignity, and those close to me are aware that I will not tolerate being addressed in such a manner. I am human, and I demand to be treated as such.

A hard truth some of us don’t want to face:

In this country, unemployment is treated like a personal failure instead of what it really is , a structural crisis.

Somehow we’ve normalised shaming people for not “making it”, as if effort automatically produces opportunity. As if jobs are lying around waiting for the right attitude.

They’re not.

There are people waking up early with nowhere to go.
People applying every week and hearing nothing back.
People doing work that doesn’t match their education, skills, or age , not because they lack ambition, but because stagnation breaks the spirit.

And no, not everyone is meant to be a business owner.
We can’t all “start something”. Economies don’t work like that. Even hustle needs money, time, networks, and emotional space — luxuries many don’t have.

So when we reduce someone’s worth to their income, we expose how shallow our thinking has become.

Trying counts.
Showing up counts.
Wanting more for yourself counts , even when the system keeps saying “no”.

If you’ve never had to survive without options, be careful how loudly you judge those who are.

Because struggling in South Africa is not a character defect.
It’s a shared reality.

Let’s talk.
