3. Centering: The concept of "center" in Pilates refers to the core muscles of the body, including the abdominals, lower back, hips, and glutes. Pilates exercises are designed to strengthen and stabilize this center, providing a solid foundation for all movements.

4. Precision: Pilates exercises prioritize the quality of movement over quantity. Each movement is performed with precision and attention to detail, ensuring correct alignment and muscle activation. This focus on precision helps to improve body awareness and prevent injury.
