About the Practice

SELMED is a SEMI- mobile practice which allows us to move around and bring our services to isolated communities in and around Greater Tzaneen ,Maruleng and Phalaborwa.

We aim to provide excellent service to our clients at affordable prices. Our main goal is to not only provide excellent service but to educate caregivers and children on ear care and hygiene, as well as provide talks to educate parents on the importance of early childhood detection and intervention. The caregiver is the biggest asset to the team and we believe that if we educate caregivers to know what to look for and how to support their child, only then can we truly start making a difference in the lives of our clients.

We are working with BGM Audiologists in Polokwane to bring Good Ears For Future Leaders ™ to schools in and around Tzaneen, Hoedspruit, and Phalabrowa. This is one of our flagship programs as we believe that if a child cannot hear they cannot learn.

SELMED Audiology also has an occupational hearing program for companies. We help manage and diagnose employees with hearing loss. We also advocate for the person with the hearing loss with regards to inclusion in the workplace. Our referrals pathway is well established as we are concerned with the holistic care of all those who we see at our practice.
