This is 40🌿

I’ve never been big on birthdays, yet as this one has approached over the past few months, I’ve felt a some potency around it. This birthday felt less like a celebration and more like an initiation - a rite of passage, a crossing of a threshold into a new decade, one I sense I’ve been preparing for.

And so, for my 40th, I felt called to ceremony - to sit with the medicines I hold most dear: Retreat, Nature, Breathwork, Cacao, Sound Healing, Yoga and Silence. This past weekend was that, and so much more.

Through a deeply powerful Cacao and Breathwork journey, the message that came through was a call into a deeper level of service - to those I serve, to my loved ones and community, to myself - and equally to the Earth, to Nature and her medicines, to the Breath, and to Spirit.

Thank you to the most incredible facilitator and friend for holding and celebrating me in such a warm, powerful and authentic way. And thank you to the magnificent land of - the moment I arrived, I felt at home, perhaps fittingly, it being the birthplace of humanity.

Thank you also to my love for supporting me and this wild request - to spend my birthday with strangers! Thank you for being who you are and giving me the space for me to be who I am and do what I do. 🤍

I don’t know what this next chapter holds, but I feel deeply grateful, inspired, and in awe of all that this life reveals and offers. My heart is open, my cup is full.

I’m ready. 🙏🏼

Join us for journey into the transformational power of the breath at the beautiful Greenhouse at Rocklands Health Centre in Constantia on Monday 9 March 2026. Within this space, surrounded by nature, be guided through a Conscious Breathwork Journey, followed by a gentle and restorative Sound Bowl Bath.

Using the powerful practice of Conscious Circular Breathing, we will journey deep within to clear, cleanse and shift your vibrational frequency, allowing you to align with the truth of who you are. The Breathwork Journey will conclude with a healing Sound Bowl Bath, realigning and restoring harmony and balance within your energy field.

This practice helps us to cultivate a sense of bliss, release any stuck emotions and stories, and invite in lightness of being and powerful insights to carry with you well beyond the event.

2025 Reflections 🌿

There’s no denying it – for me, 2025 has been a year of immense growth. Over the last 12 months, I birthed a new business, , we bought a magical property in Hogsback, and I spent my first full year back in Cape Town to be with my love. I’ve been blessed to do the work that I love… In short, SO much to be grateful for.

I also grew in ways I wouldn’t have chosen - many moments of the rug being pulled out from beneath me… Yet it was in these tough times that I learnt the most.

And while this year has brought expansion, it has also brought perspective. Amidst the big, beautiful dreams and manifestations, I’ve found myself cherishing the small and simple things more than ever. I’ve been discovering what authentic abundance means for me. And more often than not, it lives in the ordinary.

* It’s my early morning forest walks with the dogs
* It’s the ritual of Sunday movie and pizza nights with my love
* It’s watching our tiny garden slowly flourish

What this year has taught me is that there is sacredness to be found in everything. I’ve let go of the idea that some things are “spiritual”, while others are not. The divine is woven into everything. The more we can appreciate the messy ordinary of our everyday lives, the more sacred they inherently become. 

Thank you to every single person that I connected with this year! Wishing you the most incredible 2026 ahead, filled with your version of authentic abundance and soulful fulfillment.

Spring Day marks 5 years of Olivia Moon Wellness! 🌿 And each day I am still in complete awe that I get to keep doing this soul work, that lights me up on every level.

Some of you may not know that I worked for over 10 years in corporate hospitality before reaching the breaking point that became the seed of this business. And what continue to prove itself, both in my life and in my client’s lives, is that when you start to take action on your soul-led dreams, the Universe shows up to support you in so many unimaginable ways.

What I didn’t know when I started was that this business would be such a potent container of learning and growth. And in case you are someone on the brink of following your heart and starting that new thing, here are my top humble takeaways that I wish I had known from the beginning.

1. The more you try and control an outcome, the less likely it is to go your way. Yes, it’s essential to keep taking aligned action towards your goals, but it’s equally important to know when to let go and allow whatever is meant to unfold, to unfold. What I’ve found is that when I come into embodied acceptance of what is, things have a funny way of working out better than I could ever have imagined.

2. Yes, learning and studying in order to uplevel and upskill is a vital part of any profession (and I highly recommend it!). But, are you chasing more certifications as a way to seek external validation or as a way to continuously procrastinate on putting yourself out there? Action builds confidence, and there is no greater qualification than practical experience.

Are you ready to dive deeper into the breath? Lumina Breathwork’s Foundational Training is now open for enrollment! This 35 Hour training will equip you with the practical skills and embodied experience needed to integrate breathwork into your work with others, or to simply expand your personal toolkit and relationship with the breath.

Read through the posts to find out more about what this training offers. This training is Yoga Alliance Continuing Education (YACEP) accredited and offers 35 CE hours upon completion of all course components.

Yes, you read that right!

So much of how we think, feel, act - and don’t act - is shaped by the state of our nervous system. Our emotional responses, our patterns of behaviour, even the stories we tell ourselves, all arise from the physiological state we’re in.

Your state comes before your story.

Which means the way you perceive the world isn’t just based on your psychology - it’s biological - shaped by years of patterned conditioning wired into your body and brain.

This is why nervous system work is so transformative.

Because when we learn how to regulate and build flexibility and resilience in the system itself, we begin to change how we experience life from the inside out.

I’m in the final stages of creating a simple but powerful nervous system toolkit to share with you, designed to help you work with your nervous system, rather than feeling like it’s working against you.

Hello and happy Solstice! I’m so excited to introduce you to my new offering, Lumina Breathwork! was born from my deep passion for sharing the power of breathwork with as many people as possible. Anyone who knows my work knows that breathwork is at the heart of everything I do, and now I am answering the call to share what I know through training others in this life-changing modality.

Lumina means “light”, and so planting this seed of light on the Winter Solstice, the darkest day of the year and a time of rebirth, seemed only fitting.

Lumina will be offering multi-style trainings that are rooted in the authentic origins of the practices and uphold its essence, which is largely found in the yogic path.

I will be offering small group, in-person trainings, coupled with an online and self study component. Weaving together both yogic pranayama as well as modern breathwork techniques, all trainings are trauma-informed and focus on a holistic, grounded approach to breathwork. My intention is to guide others to emerge as embodied facilitators and space holders, rooted in integrity.

When we’re seeking change in our lives, we often focus on the content.

On a macro level, this might look like changing jobs, finding a new relationship, reaching a goal weight, or moving house.

On a micro level, we try to shift the content within the content - wanting our partner to be more present, our boss to offer more praise, the neighbours to be quieter, or the groceries to cost less.

Changing the content can help, but it’s often exhausting. Many things are simply outside our control. And even when we do change one thing, something else tends to rise up in its place and we land up right back where we started.

But what if the transformation we seek doesn’t come from changing the content, but from shifting our perspective?

When we look more closely, what we’re often craving isn’t the new content itself, but the feeling we believe it will bring.

Fulfilment.
Connection.
Abundance.
Peace.

Shifting perspective means we start to in-source those feelings, instead of waiting for our outer world to deliver them.

And one of the most powerful ways I know to do that - both personally and in the work I do with clients - is through the nervous system.

When we change the state of our nervous system, we are also able to adjust our personal lens of perception, so that what we experience doesn’t necessrily change, but the way we see it does.

Instead of striving for change from a place of control or urgency, we move from a space of inner connection. And from that resourced state, not only do we feel more grounded, we also become more available to the life we already have. We can make the aligned changes that are needed without needing everything to be different just to feel okay.

And to me, this is freedom.

What I have seen through working with many clients is that when we shift, our world shifts, without us needing to ‘make it happen’. And it all starts from within.

So if you’re in a place that feels triggering, in a situation that you want to get out of, or just feel a bit bored and like something needs to change, start by taking a few deep breaths and ask yourself, “How can I see this differently?” And watch your world change. 🤍
