Did you know your garden soil has it's own microbiome, filled with tiny, microscopic workers? And like any microbiome it can become imbalanced as a result of chemical use, stress and poor nutrition.

So, awaken your soil with a boost of living probiotic microorganisms that break down nutrients in compost, deodorize foul odors and support all levels of life in the soil -- from beneficial fungi to nematodes and beyond.

Start your spring garden off right, so you can see those big blooms and luscious vegetables this summer.

Not only can a healthy gut lead to better skin health, but skin health can also impact gut health. Some skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema are linked to gut problems. In fact, one study found that 70% of people with psoriasis also had digestive issues.

Taking our liquid Essential Probiotics, with 11 live, active strains, is not only good for your gut health, it could also impact your skin health.

Not just protein, carbs, and fats but also the 25,000 phytochemicals (plant-signaling molecules), many of which act beneficially on these longevity switches. While current science may not consider these essential nutrients, they are, in fact, essential.

A lack of these nutrients may not cause an immediate deficiency disease like scurvy from lack of vitamin C, but they cause long-latency deficiency diseases — heart disease, cancer, diabetes, dementia, and accelerated aging.

If I were to prescribe one intervention to extend life, to prevent and reverse chronic disease, it would be to dramatically reduce or eliminate sugar and refined starch from your diet.

The flood of sugar and starch drives your pancreas to produce more and more insulin to keep blood sugar under control. This leads to insulin resistance, or the inability of our cells to “hear” the signals from insulin. What does the body do then? It produces more and more insulin.

Unfortunately, this excessive amount of insulin drives sugar and fat into the cells, primarily into the fat cells around your abdominal organs — visceral fat, otherwise known as belly fat—locks the fat in those cells, slows down metabolism, and increases hunger and craving for carbohydrates, all things that worsen blood sugar control and insulin resistance and lead to the diseases of aging.

The health of your gut can have an immense impact on your overall well-being, so it's important to regularly check in and notice any changes in your habits.

Ask yourself these 5 gut check questions:

1) Are you experiencing any digestive discomfort such as bloating, constipation, or diarrhea?
2) Are you eating a diet rich in prebiotics and probiotics?
3) Are you consuming enough fiber?
4) How often do you eat processed or sugary foods?
5) Are you regularly exposed to environmental toxins?

By critically evaluating your answers to these questions you can gain a better understanding of how healthy your gut is and make any necessary changes to optimize your gut health.

If your gut health is less than optimal, then you might need the help of probiotics!

Allowing nature to nurture

The Creator, in His infinite wisdom created man and put him in a garden. The concept of Eden is often conjured up, in one's mind, as a perfect sanctuary where man can grow and thrive. This Garden is one of unsurpassed beauty where peace indeed flows like a river. The sights, sounds and smells bring the senses a delight beyond our imaginations. We can only, if we are blessed to have spent time in great beauty, like unspoiled beaches or tropical rain forests, try to catch the fleeting moments of perfection in this life. We face a world so very different from the original "plan" on a daily basis.

2019 is a time of unforeseen disassociation with almost everything that matters in life. The following message says it all:

The Paradox of Our Time
