Hyperhydrosis 💦

Hyperhydrosis is a condition that involves excessive sweating that may affect the whole body or just specific areas, like underarms, hands or feet.

Causes of excessive sweating:

💥Genetic predisposition

Sweating may be embarrassing, may stain clothes, ruin romance, and complicate business and social interactions.

For axillary hyperhydrosis, Botulinum toxin is injected into the skin under the arm. This blocks the actions of the nerves that supply the eccrine glands by inhibiting acetylcholine release, preventing the glands from producing sweat.

The procedure is relatively painless, takes about 15-20 minutes, and results may be seen within 1-2 weeks of treatment.

✨The effects of the treatment usually last for 6-9 months.
