Exciting News!

Dear friends and clients,
I hope this message finds you well!

I wanted to share some exciting news with you all. After an incredible journey at Edengeln Virgin Active, I have officially closed my practice there. 🏋️‍♀️

I am thrilled to announce that I have joined the fantastic team at JJust Move Studio! 🎉 In January 2024, I embarked on this new chapter, and I couldn't be more excited about the opportunities it brings.

The warm welcome I've received from the JJust Move Studio team has been incredible. I am honoured to be part of a studio that values holistic well-being and is committed to helping clients reach their full potential. 🌿

How does scoring work?
You will be able to score a level out of 5, depending on the following 3 points:
💪 Medical history (including blood pressure, heart rate, body mass index and waist circumference).
💪7 strength and flexibility tests (testing your posture, stability, physical strength and flexibility).
💪 Heart rate response (HRR) will be tested with a quick submaximal bike, treadmill or ergometer test.

How much does it cost?
The Vitality Fitness Assessment cost is available on the Discovery website, available for anyone to see. (https://www.discovery.co.za/assets/discoverycoza/corporate/wellness-assessment-guide.pdf). You will need to pay for the assessment upfront. If you are on a Medical Scheme plan that covers the cost, you can claim this amount from your day-to-day benefits if you have funds available. If you are a Discovery Life policyholder, you will need to pay for your assessment upfront. If you are a qualifying Discovery Bank client and have Discovery Miles available, you can use this to pay for your assessment.

What can I do to get a better score?
If your results are out of range you have the ability to complete the assessment again later in the year (after 90 days). You can start by doing the recommended cardio (a minimum of 30 minutes of cardio 5 days a week). We recommend that you do the following stretches:

💪SEATED APLEYS STRETCH 3 SETS OF 30 SECONDS HOLD PER SIDE (15 SEC UP; 15 SEC DOWN)
💪SEATED PIRIFORMIS STRETCH
💪STRETCH LOWER BACK (WINDMILL STRETCH)
💪STRETCH HIP FLEXORS AND QUADS SIDE-LYING
💪ISOLATED HAMSTRING PNF STRETCH
