Day 2 of the very first online SACLC international conference and what an honor to MC again!

The speakers the past 2 days have truly been out of this world, sharing their knowledge and passion in all different aspects of breastfeeding, communication, NICU support, cultural diversity, expression, kangeroula care etc!

The truth is that we need LCs who care, who want to support, who ask the breastfeeding mom what her goal is, who go the extra mile, checks-in, work with a team, listens well and who is knowledgeable on every topic all-things-breastfeeding but also human connection.

Thank you South African Certified Lactation Consultants and team for such an amazing and inspiring two days! We are blessed!

A special thanks to my baby bump for the little kicks to remind me to snack since we started at the first hospital this morning at 6:30 through to number3, for Lulu my fur baby who kept my lap warm and my amazing husband who bought my fav takeout when he saw the day was getting too long and busy. My cup is filled!

Embrace the season…

Embrace every curve, every bump, every stretch mark, every kilo, every pain, every cramp, every bit of feeling uncomfortable, because there is so SO much more to life than feeling perfect!

Its when we step out of our comfort zones and realise that God doesnt ask ability, he asks for availability.

Being healthy; mentally, spiritually and physically is a daily choice. We are all just human, you don’t need to be perfect, just perfectly YOU!

Ps. I dont usually share bikini photos, HOWEVER, I am proud of how this body is growing a little human daily. Every stretch mark is a battle scar of a victory that was won, she is growing in so many other ways than just in size….

I feel so blessed to have been an exhibitor at Aurora’s exhibition for pregnancy week at Parklane Netcare Hospital. Meeting moms and dads who share life and this beautiful dream of parenthood is truly so inspiring! Dad, You told me to plough the fields and plant the seeds, I trust You for harvest! Thank you for being a Good Great Father. Thank You for opportunities and a husband who encourages me to pursue my passion. I am in awe of Your goodness God! Bless all the families that were there today and may they know Your grace and goodness! Amen ###

Happy 2025!!! May this year be everything you hoped and dreamed for. May you be excited about what is to come and know that no matter what, you are capable to bloom!

Blooming bumps, babies and bodies was started in 2021 while working at Rahima Moosa Mother & Baby Hospital! During that year, I completed over 1000 hours of breastfeeding support to the breastfeeding community in the hospital, in 2022 my practice started reaching beyond the Jhb borders and I became a Online Lactation Consultant. Since I started, I have assisted more than 230 moms to bloom in their breastfeeding journeys, from Gauteng to Portugal, America, Mexico, & Dubai. I am proud, blessed and humbled to say that 80% of my clients are all over the world and I learn so much from each mom and her journey, no matter where they are.

I love what I do, and I super excited to meet all my blooming moms and babies of 2025!
