Anna works from home as an accountant. She was a chief accountant before her injury. In 2014, there was a derailment on the metro, which left 24 people dead and many people injured. Anna had one of the most serious injuries of all the survivors. Since then, her lifestyle has completely changed: rehabilitation, using a wheelchair, and health limitations.

But Anna has a positive attitude to life. She tries to prove that there are no limits to what you can do, no matter your health condition.

How to select the correct foam dressing for patients?

Foam dressings come in a variety of sizes, shapes and formats. This means you can use them:

1. as primary and secondary dressings;
2. on wounds of various sizes;
3. under devices such as compression bandages; and
4. on differing anatomical positions as well as hard-to-dress areas, such as joints.

The multi-layered structure of many silicone foam dressings makes them useful as part of a pressure ulcer prevention protocol, as application of these dressings can reduce pressure and shear forces on vulnerable sites.
